Brooke Signs with York City

So proud of this girl!

Brooke has been having 121 sessions with us for nearly 3 years.

In that time she’s dealt with set backs like being dropped from an RTC (girls football version of an academy) and then being rejected at trial after trial at other clubs.

She never stopped working, always smiled and just cracked on.

She’s trained with us most weeks, played for 2 teams (including a boys team which isn’t always easy for a teenage girl), started doing 6am runs before school and did her own individual football training off her own back.

Yesterday she finally got the news she deserves – she’s been accepted into York City RTC.

Well done, Brooke. Time to graft even harder.
