Foot-Tech at Barca Academy

A tiring but very worthwhile trip to Barcelona Academy earlier this month.

Coaches Dara, Dan & Josh spent last week on a coaching course in sunny Spain where they spent time at the famous La Masia alongside coaches from around the world.

50-60 hours of learning crammed into 4 days which included talks with the Barca coaching and scouting departments, observing academy training sessions and plenty of time in talks and discussions with one of the best coach educators on the planet.

Now many can say they’ve had that experience!

Thanks to FCE for always delivering. These courses test and challenge what you think you know about football coaching.

We’ve never done courses where the educator is so committed to making sure everyone leaves better than when they came.

They’re demanding but that’s exactly what coaching course should be.

If we are demanding of our players to improve we need to be demanding of ourselves to improve as coaches and this is one area that is massively important to us at Foot-Tech and a reason why we invest so much in our team with things like this.

If parents trust us to help their child improve they need to know we are going above and beyond to improve ourselves and our team.
