Billy signs for Barnsley

We had some ace news last week that one of our former members has signed for Barnsley Academy

Billy trained with us for 3 years before we recommended him to Guiseley Academy to continue his development.

We knew he’d be in good hands there and he’d be able to keep progressing into the high school years.

Our very own Nick was also able to continue helping him throughout this time as we also coach his grassroots team, Wigton Moor.

He’s gone from strength to strength

Such a hard working lad who all of our coaches enjoyed working with.

His attitude and motivation is an example for any young player and it’s no surprise to him finally get his reward.

Like so many others we work with who have reached this level, he has superb parents behind him who has supported him, encouraged him and have always being led by him and what he wants to do.

Yet another example to show that you don’t need to be at a pro-club from a very young age
