Caleb has been at Foot-Tech for 3+ years and is getting better & better.
The coaches love working with him and his attitude is fantastic – he just loves playing football 
Since starting he’s:
Joined his first grassroots team
Selected for the Leeds United Development Centre
He recently finished a block of 121’t to get ready for the new season and, as expected, he was a joy to teach at every session.
His shooting power for a 7 year old is unreal 
It wasn’t always plane sailing, though.
He struggled when he first joined us but has been one of the players who has developed the fastest across the whole of Foot-Tech.
Here’s why we think he’s progressed so much:
- His parents took him out of his comfort zone
As a little one, Caleb was at another football class that he became very familiar with.
It was time for him to be challenged but, like most kids, he wanted to stay with what he knew.
His parents knew it would be a bit of short-term pain for long-term gain so persisted with bringing him to Foot-Tech whilst giving him a lot of support & encouragement until he settled.
2. He has a good mix of training 
Combining team training with what we do has given Caleb a good mix of training.
He is able to practise in a team environment but also get the individual/street-style approach of Foot-Tech which has helped accelerate his overall development.
3. His parents don’t chase the dream 
Thankfully, Caleb has a mum & dad who are led by him and what he enjoys.
Instead of dragging him here, there and everywhere in hope that this next place will be the one that finally gets him into an academy, they simply let him play…
Because they know that will guarantee he develops more and stays in the game longer
