If you come to a Foot-Tech session you’ll know we start with arrival matches.

Why? Here are the top 5 reasons:

1. Instant engagement – Kids love playing matches, it gets them excited as soon as they arrive.

2. More touches in game scenarios – Playing more small sided games means more touches in real situations to enahnce technical and decision making skills

3. Reduce waiting time – No standing around! As soon as players arrive they can jump straight in and get active

4. Smooth transition into training – The small matches give kids chance to prepare for the session ahead both mentally and physically

5. Gives us time to re-plan – Whilst the games are going on we can see how many players have arrived and tweak any of our activities accordingly without kids having to stand around and wait
